A Group of American Coin Silver Fiddle-End Spoons
Mostly 19th century, comprising: a set of five 6in spoons with retailer mark J.R Compton, two pairs of 6in spoons with retailer mark John A. Cole, a set of three 6in spoons with retailer mark G.W.King, a pair of 6 1/4in spoons with retailer mark R.T & Co., a pair of 5 3/4in spoons by Alexander Gordon, NY, two spoons by George Bush, PA, and five other single spoons from 5 to 6 1/4in with makers including Benjamin Cleveland, J&J Hall, and J. Taylor & Co., this lot also includes three pieces of English sterling silver, a pair of 5 1/2in spoons and a 6in sugar tongs.
