Our June auction includes over 400 lots featuring an important collection of fine Japanese Satsuma ware, featuring pieces by Yabu Meizan, Orgurusu, Choshuzan, Tawara Koseki and others. Chinese porcelain, glass by Thomas Webb, Quezal and others, artwork by Louis Icart, Otto Poertzel, Joseph Barrett, Pablo Picasso, Daniel Garber, Giuseppe Gambino, and others. The auction includes over fifty lots of silver tableware, makers include Tiffany, Gorham, Kirk and Son. Comprising: a pair of open salts with ram's heads and horn feet, marked for Gorham; a ladle with engraved monogram, marked for James Watson, Sr., Philadelphia, c. 1857-1872; a set of five butter knives, a berry spoon with twist handle and pair of small spoons with twist handles, all marked for George B. Sharp, Philadelphia, c. 1850; a teaspoon, marked for S. Kirk & Son; and a teaspoon, marked for Joseph Freeman, Norfolk, VA, c. 1844-1871; together with, a pair of sterling silver tongs, marked for Gorham (1.09 ozt)

Condition

All with some tarnishing, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.  Some pieces with engraved monograms.
