Coin silver spoons by New Jersey makers, early to mid 19th century, comprising: a set of nine 5 3/4" fiddle spoons by Benjamin Cleveland (Newark NJ, b. 1767 - d. 1837) with shell drop and "AFM" monogram, a set of three coffin end 9" spoons by Benjamin Cleveland with "LEH" monogram, and two spoons of similar from by Cleveland one 5 1/2" and the other 5 3/4", a set of six fiddle 6" spoons by S & E Roberts of Trenton NJ, two matching 6" spoons by S & E Roberts, two matching 7 1/2" spoons by S & E Roberts, a set of five 5 3/4" spoons by Nathaniel Coleman (Burlington NJ, 1790 - 1835), a set of four 6" fiddle spoons with shell drops by Henry Evans (Newark NJ), a set of two 5 3/4" spoons by Evans, and a single 6" spoon by Evans, the lot also includes three 9" spoons by Aaron Lane, a 5 3/4" coffin end spoon by Abner Reeder, a 9" spoon by Reeder, a 6" spoon by Reeder, three spoons marked for "Stakeman", two fiddle 7" spoons by Abraham Voorhees, a 5 3/4" spoon by Voorhees, three 5 3/4" spoons marked "JVI", a 8" spoon by "JVI", a 7" spoon marked "R. Smith Newark", a 5 3/4" spoon marked "Lapoy Newark", a 5 3/4" spoon marked "A. Wakefield", three spoons by J. W Cortelyou one 5 1/2" one 6" one 8 1/2", two 5 1/2" spoons marked S. Condition
Mostly good condition, the spoon by Baldwin and Smith has deep bends, all others are in good condition with minor surface wear and various minor dings etc.
