A Group of French Champleve 

 

Late 19th to first quarter of the 20th century, various forms of gilt brass champleve, comprising: a 7in tripod inkwell desk stand, a pair of 6in tall candle sticks with stone bases, a pair of 8in candlesticks with covers also with stone bases, a 7 1/2in long tripod chamber stick, a 9 1/4in dresser tray with wriggle work, a 5in marble mounted inkwell desk stand with porcelain liner, a miniature 2 3/4in baluster form vase, a 9in hand mirror, a 9 1/2in inkwell desk stand with glass liner and urn form inkwell flanked by patinated bronze putti, a 6in spoon with star and crescent terminal, and a 7in dip pen handle. 

 

Condition

The ink well liners all in used condition and may need to be cleaned or replaced, otherwise good with surface wear to the gilding and expected minor enamel losses.
