A Group of Tableware and Sterling Boxes
A sterling silver box by Whiting, a sterling silver box by R. Wallace and Sons, a sterling silver and 14k gold box by R. Blackington & Co. with felt liner, a silver plate cruet cart by C.R Collis & Co., a silver plated box by Gorham, and a ceramic and marble ashtray of a woman.
Dimensions: the silver items gross weight is approximately 6ozt, the boxes range from 2" x 2" x 2" to 4 1/2" x 3" x 2", the ashtray is 5" long and 3" in height.
Provenance: From a Main Line, Philadelphia collection.
Condition
The box by Whiting has various dents and dings, the box by R.W and Sons has one prominent dent, the 14k gold element on the small box has a bend, the marble of the ashtray has a rim chips.
