On vellum, dated for August 1st, 1838, a document for the sale of 45 acres in Kaskaskia, IL to James Huggins, with the signature of Martin van Buren in the lower right corner.
Dimensions: the sheet is 10" x 16"
Provenance: From a Chester County collection.
Condition
Light stains and signs of age are present to the vellum, some edge wear including several short tears at the edges.
