A Large Group of Glass and Silver Bottles and Boxes
Thirty-Four total, mostly sterling mounted but one in .800 silver, and two unmarked, mid 19th to 20th century, makers including: Hamilton and Diesinger, Tiffany & Co. A. Buckley Ltd., Charles and George Asprey, George Henry Jones & Co., La Pierre, Mappin and Webb, R. Wallace and Sons, J.H Werner, and F & B, among others. Items of interest include a tripartite set of bottles, three pieces with silver overlay decoration, and a Tiffany 7" tall bottle.
Dimensions: ranging from 1 1/4" to 7" tall, and from 1 1/4" to 4 1/2" in diameter
Provenance: From a Main Line, Philadelphia collection.
Condition
Overall good, some with dents and losses to the lids, the silver overlay bottle in .800 silver is cracked, one of the small bottles has a broken hinge, other minor surface wear including scattered bites or chips to the glass.
