A New York Federal Period Mahogany Armchair 

 

Circa 1800, the square foot below a molded and tapered square leg below the upholstered trapezoidal seat and serpentine arms that terminate in rosettes, all below the tablet form open back that features a stepped crest and is centered by a draped urn form splat surmounted by Prince of Wale feathers.

Dimensions: 25in from arm to arm, 18 1/2in deep, the seat height is 18in and the overall height is 34 1/2in.
