Locati LLC is pleased to present our May 2026 sale with over 350 lots. Of special interest is a c. 1820 Declaration of Independence printed on silk, a pair of Oscar Bach bronze torchieres, a cabinet by American carver Stephen Huneck, and fine repousse silver by Samuel Kirk. Additional highlights include a scarce golf-themed Royal Doulton jardiniere and stand, Japanese cloisonne, a variety of American, English, and Continental furniture and decorative arts. A Swiss Made, Gold Coin Wrist Watch with 14k Bracelet

 

Mid 20th Century, a concealed dial wristwatch marked for Bueche-Girod, Bienne, the case with hidden button is partially constructed out of a US 1895-S Twenty Dollar coin and marked for Leon Epshtein Inc. Switzerland, the watch is hallmarked for 18k gold and the mesh bracelet is marked for 14k gold at the clasp. 

 

Dimensions: the total gross weight of this watch and bracelet is approximately 45.40 dwt, 34.5mm in diameter, 19mm lug width, the bracelet sized for up to an approximately 7in wrist 

 

Provenance: From a local collection. 

Condition

There is a slight deformation at the hinge point of the face, there is a dent to one of the spring bar housings of the bracelet, one of the hands is loose in the dial, expected surface wear. The watch appears to run when wound however we do not guarantee functionality or time keeping.
