A commercially produced violin labeled: Antonio Sgarbi da Finale-Emilia/ Fece in Roma Anno 1929, but not the work of Sgarbi. The one-piece maple back of medium narrow curl descending slightly from the center joint; the maple ribs of similar curl; the maple head of faint medium curl; the two-piece spruce table of fine grain broadening toward the flanks; the varnish a light orange brown color over golden ground. Note: Not by Anontio Sgarbi.
