Highlights include a newly discovered work by Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita, an impressive Imperial quality Chinese floor screen, Chinese cloisonne, pottery and porcelain from the 12th to 20th centuries, bronzes from India and Southeast Asia, art including works by Pierre-Charles Comte, H. Guerault, Helen Bershad, Americana including furniture and samplers, a collection of KPM and related paintings on porcelain, silver Judaica, and estate silver. Comprising: a view of the Basilica of San Nicola Carcere; a view of the Palazzo Panifilio; and a view of the church of San Cosimato; together with an etching by Giovanni Baptista Falda (1648-1678) depicting the gardens of the Villa Medici, Rome

 

Dimensions: from 8 1/2 in. x 13 in. to 9 1/8 in. x 17 in. (plate)

 

 

Condition

All unframed.  The view of the Palazzo Panifilio affixed to matting with tape to top edge.  Margins trimmed with remainder of previous mounting to left side.  Scattered foxing and areas of toning.  

The view of San Nicola Carere affixed to matting with tape at top edge.  Margins trimmed with remainder of previous mounting to left side and pencil notations to the right margin.  Very minor toning and discoloration.  

The view of the church of San Cosimato loose with some yellowing and toning.  Margins trimmed.

The view of the Medici gardens loose with some spots.  Pinholes to upper right and left corner with patched holes to top and bottom center and bottom right and left corners.  Fold to top left corner.  Margins trimmed to plate.
