An 18k Gold Pocketwatch, with Movemement by Joseph Johnson, Liverpool
Late 19th century, an open faced pocketwatch with a Joseph Johnson, Liverpool fusee and chain movement, the movement no. 5539, the balance cock decorated with an engraving of a sunflower. The case hallmarked for 18k gold, with guilloche decoration to the back and the sides and crown with roses in low relief, the dial (possibly not original) with applique numerals, flowers and acanthus in multicolored metals.

Overall good, minor surface wear to the case, the movement does not appear to be running and has not been tested.
