An English Porcelain Dessert Service, Circa 1850. Each hand painted with a cobalt ground, floral reserves, and a motif of a classical urn repeated at the edges, each piece marked 8796 comprising: twelve 4 1/2" in diameter coffee cups, seven 3 3/4" diameter tea cups, twelve 6" plates, a pair of 11" serving plates, a 7" in diameter waste bowl, and eighteen 8" plates.
Provenance: Property from a Local Estate.
Condition
One coffee cup has a repaired handle, another coffee cup has a missing handle, one teacup has a repaired handle, another teacup has a foot rim chip, a teacup has a hairline crack, and another coffee cup has a crack to the foot, and a 8" has a hairline crack, all others in good condition with expected surface wear.
