Locati LLC is pleased to present our May 2026 sale with over 350 lots. Of special interest is a c. 1820 Declaration of Independence printed on silk, a pair of Oscar Bach bronze torchieres, a cabinet by American carver Stephen Huneck, and fine repousse silver by Samuel Kirk. Additional highlights include a scarce golf-themed Royal Doulton jardiniere and stand, Japanese cloisonne, a variety of American, English, and Continental furniture and decorative arts. Exhibition: Kingston, Rhode Island, University of Rhode Island, "Anna Brewster's South County, Summer and Sojourns, 17 July - 8 September 1989 (cat. no. 45).

 

Anna Mary was the daughter of landscape artist William Trost Richards.  She studied at the Art Student's League with William Merritt Chase and John LaFarge.

Condition

Not examined outside frame.  In good condition.  The giltwood frame in good condition.
