Documents pertaining to the Persen family in Kingston, Ulster County, NY, most retaining the wax seals, comprising in chronological order: a 1730 survey of Matthew Persen's land along strand road, a 1735 Ulster County Deed for Cornelius Persen, a 1736/7 deed from the trustees of Kingston to Cornelius Persen, a 1739 deed from the trustees of Kingston to Mathew Persen, a 1750 draft deed of Cornelius Persen, a 1750 Peter Hogeborne to Cornelius Persen deed, a 1769 Probate of the Will of Cornelius Persen, a 1786 gift deed for two seats in the Dutch Church of Kingston, a 17?? land indenture for Cornelius Persen, a 1789 Bill of Sale for a "Negro boy Harry" from Thomas Schoonmaker to Johannis Persen, a 1796 indenture for Cornelius Persen, Johannis Persen's last will and testament of 1801 (note: the will authorizes the aforementioned slave Harry to be a free man four years from the decease of Persen.), a 1803 land indenture for Cornelius Persen, an 1812 land indenture for Cornelius Persen, and an 1812 indenture between Jacob & Jane Trumpbour among others and Cornelius Persen
