A Continental Baroque carved figure of a saint, 18th century, depicted holding a crucifix, raised on a later rectangular hardwood base.Height of figure 21 3/4in; height overall 23 1/2in; width of base 7in; depth of base 5 3/4in.
Condition as pictured. With heavy wear and loss overall commensurate with age. Traces of gesso and pigment, evidence of old wood worm.
