A diminutive George III mahogany bachelor's chest, fourth quarter 18th century, the figured rectangular top with thumb molded edge over a baize lined grooming slide, two short over three graduated long drawers, raised on bracket feet.Height 32 3/4in; width 28 1/4in; depth 13 3/4in.
Oak drawer sides and bottoms. Structurally sound. In an overall restored condition. The top with general fading, marks, scratches and minor loss of finish. The interior of each drawer now fitted with a felt lined compartmented interior. The brass hardware has been replaced. No keys.
