A diminutive pair of English carved mahogany Gothic style hall chairs, mid 19th century, each with tracery carved crests with turned spindle backs above an upholstered seat.Height 35in; width 14 1/2in; depth of seat 12 1/4in; depth overall 13 1/4in; seat height 14in.
Structurally sound. Each chair with minor old glued repairs to the crest and splats. One chair with a loss to the carved ball finial on the right stile. Both upholstered seats are in good condition. The frames with scuffs, dings, surface scratches and small losses, especially to legs and feet.
