An English Carved Oak Gentleman's Wardrobe, Aw-Lyn, First Quarter 20th Century. Carved and joined in the Baroque taste, the pair of blind paneled doors enclosing a well fitted oak interior with dressing mirror and labels for suits; hats; underwear; collars; handkerchiefs; shirts; hosiery; shoes; trousers and brushes, raised on turned bun feet.
Dimensions: Height 74in; width 51 3/4in; depth 21 1/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Maryland Collection.
Condition
Structurally sound. With general marks, wear, nicks, scuffs, surface scratches and small losses. The interior appears to be mostly intact; lacking a small shelf and possibly some other elements. Shrinkage and dust accumulation throughout. No key.
