A landscape with a man fishing in a boat, signed and dated for 1888 at the lower left. In a good gilt gesso frame that appears to be original to the work.15" x 27", the frame 20 1/2" x 32 1/2".From a local collection.
There is a canvas patch at the lower center, some inpainting at the sky and left edge. The frame is in good condition with expected wear.
