A Federal Birdseye Maple Corner Washstand, First Quarter 19th Century. Shaped backsplash with candle holder, the top with a circular open aperture to hold washbowl, ring and block turned supports, joined by an under-tier fitted with a single dovetailed drawer.
Dimensions: Height 35 3/4in; width 23 1/2in; depth 16 1/2in.
Condition
Structurally sound. Retaining an old surface. Typical marks, wear, scuffs and surface scratches. Dust accumulation. There are two age cracks and minor separation to the top and lower tier. Brass hardware is replaced.
