A large Federal style inlaid birdseye maple rectangular table box, 19th century, the hinged lid decorated with a large fan paterae and brass bail handles to either side.Height 9in; width 13in; depth 7in.
In an overall restored condition. Structurally sound. Scattered age cracks and shrinkage throughout. The lock plate and catch are later. The inlaid escutcheon and fan paterae are probably later additions. Typical marks, wear, scuffs and surface scratches overall. No key
