Five Chinese Porcelain Vessels 

 

Late Qing to Early Republic periods, all marked as pictured, comprising: two similar 4 1/2in tall covered cylindrical jars one with court scene decoration and one with figures and poetic inscriptions, a diminutive parcel gilt 5 1/4in handle to spout famille verte teapot, a 5in tall baluster form vase with floral decoration, and a 3 1/2in ovoid covered box with floriform finial and magpie and floral decoration. 

 

Provenance: From a local estate.

Condition

The jars with scattered rim chips at the liner for the lid and a hairline cracks, otherwise good as pictured with some expected surface wear and minor enamel losses.
