The September 20th sale at Locati marks the first of the 2026/2027 season and features over 450 lots of furniture, fine and decorative arts, including porcelain table wares from Versace, Hermes, and Herend. Additionally, there is a collection of 40 lots of historical photographs led by a Civil War-Era Carte de Viste of Sojouner Truth and a group of early 18th century and later historical documents relating to the Van Buren and Persen families of Kingston and Ulster Counties, New York. 19th and 20th centuries, two of the photograph albums dated, comprising: an 1864 dated album bound in red hard covers containing albumen print photographs, an 1871 dated black hard cover bound photo album containing tin type photographs, a brown hard cover bound album with tin type photos, and a hand bound travel album depicting various rural scenes (possibly of Milwaukee), also included in the lot are nine stereograph cards depicting New York, African Americans, the moon, and the Philippine-American War 

 

Dimensions: the albums from 5 x 3 1/2in to 6 x 4 3/4in 

 

Provenance: From a Princeton, NJ estate.

Condition

Various states, the bindings of the albums all are in deteriorating condition as pictured.
