A French gilt bronze mounted onyx three piece clock garniture, late 19th century, comprising a mantel clock and pair of covered urns, the circular brass dial with Arabic numerals, the twin train movement striking on a gong, the backplate and pendulum numbered '8611'.
Dimensions: Height of mantel clock 17 1/4in; width 12 3/4in; depth 6 1/2in; height of urns 15 3/4in; width 6 1/2in; depth 5in.
Condition
The case with typical marks, wear, scuffs, surface scratches, small chips and fleabites to the onyx. Both of the urn's lid with small losses overall. The gilt bronze mounts with wear, darkening, toning and rubbing overall. The dial is lacking a minute hand. The clock's movement is currently not maintaining power and has not been tested or wound. We cannot guarantee the completeness and functionality of the clock's movement.
