A French Leather Book Spine Tantalus / Bottle Case, Composed of 19th Century and Later Elements. The hinged lid enclosing a decanter and five glasses. Together with a mahogany dovetailed humidor.
Dimensions: Height of tantalus 6 1/2in; width 10 1/2in; depth 8in; height of humidor 7 1/4in; width 13 1/2in; depth 9in.
Condition
The leather bindings are dry with scattered wear and losses throughout. There is separation to the second and third book where they meet in the middle (the glue has dried). The humidor's finished surface with craquelure, the lid with slight warping.
