A French Provincial red-paint decorated oak armoire, late 18th century, curated by Pierre Deux, having two large paneled doors with central fluted pilaster enclosing an open interior fitted with four removable shelves.Height 81 1/2in; width 55in; depth 26in.Purchased from Pierre Deux.
Structurally sound. Retaining an older painted surface, with previous painted layers beneath. The interior with minor reconfiguration/addition of a later horizontaal oak board to hide entertainment electronics. The back board with a small circular drilled hole to allow for cords to be fed throughout exterior of armoire.
