A George II style burl walnut and carved giltwood mirror, by La Barge, Italy for the Henry Ford Museum, mid 20th century, with applied paper to the reverse, stamped "MADE IN ITALY".Height 55 1/2in; width 26 1/4in; depth 5 3/4in.
The surface in overall good condition, typical marks, wear and nicks, dust accumulation to crevices. The bird has been broken and re-set. There is a small glued repair to the bird's beak.
