A George III Burl Yew Wood Tea Caddy, Fourth Quarter 18th Century. The hinged top enclosing a divided interior with three compartments, raised on bracket feet.
Dimensions: Height 5 1/2in; width 10 3/4in; depth 6in.
Provenance: Property from a Princeton, New Jersey Collection.
Condition
Structurally sound. Minor loss of finish to the lid. The brass hardware with typical wear and toning. Minor movement to veneers, shrinkage and age cracks, otherwise in generally good condition overall. With key.
