A George III inlaid mahogany demilune side table, circa 1800, formerly a fold-top card table.Height 30 1/2in; width 38 1/4in; depth 17 3/4in.
In an overall refinished stabilized condition. The table no longer functions as a fold top card table and is in the closed position permanently. The top with age cracks, movement to veneers and numerous scattered patches losses. The frieze and edges with heavy age cracks, movement to veneers and patched repairs throughout. Much of the inlay and paterae to the frieze is likely later added.
