A George III Style Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, Mid 20th Century.
The upper section with removable stepped and molded cornice above an arcaded frieze over a pair of astragal glazed doors, enclosing four short adjustable shelves within a divided interior.
The lower section with two hinged false drawers having an inset tooled leather writing panel to the reverse, enclosing an interior fitted with a rosewood inlaid central prospect door, concealing an open interior, above a gadrooned shallow drawer, flanked by quarter column fronted document drawer fronts, further flanked by a single valance drawer above four pigeon holes and three small drawers to either side, all above four graduated cock beaded drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns over a molded base, raised on ogee bracket feet. Mahogany secondary wood, having full depth dust boards. With 'The Guild of Master Craftsmen' decal to drawer interior.
Dimensions: Height 91 1/4in; width 48 3/4in.

Condition
Structurally sound. In overall good condition. Typical marks, wear, nicks, scuffs, and surface scratches to the case overall. Dust accumulation. There is a small glued repair to the top right side of cornice. The front left bracket foot with a horizontal break. No keys.
