Hotel Ware from the Rice Hotel, Houston, Some by Haviland Limoges
Porcelain for the Rice Hotel, Houston TX by Shenango China, Newcastle PA, each with blue and gold bands and most marked with emblem of the Rice Hotel in gold, comprising: one 6" bread plate, four 7 3/4" plates, five 9 1/2" dinner plates, five 6" saucers, a 4" in in diameter double handled sugar, and a 4" in diameter tea cup. Ceramics by Haviland Limoges: Five 10 1/2" dinner plates with a band of mottled blue, two gold bands, and a prominent crest of the Rice Hotel in gold at the center, the lot also includes a 3 3/4" in diameter double handled sugar with gold bands and also with the crest of the Rice Hotel at the front.

Condition
Overall good, One of the 9 1/2" Shenango plates has hairlines to the center, otherwise good with light surface wear to the blue and gold decoration and scattered knife marks, all with minor surface wear including knife marks, and scattered light wear to colored portions of the porcelain.
