A John Wanamaker mahogany Barrister sectional bookcase, early 20th century, comprising three glazed sections surmounted by a removable crown, raised on a base with carved bun feet, each section having an applied paper label inscribed THE JOHN WANAMAKER SECTIONAL BOOKCASES / NEW YORK / PHILADELPHIA.Height 47in; width 35 1/2in; depth 12 1/2in.
Structurally sound. Heavy marks, wear and surface scratches overall. The bottom section is lacking its glazed door. The middle section is liacking a knob.
