A Louis XV/XVI Transitional Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany Vitrine, late 19th century, surmounted by a marble top with pierced gallery, the glazed door enclosing an interior fitted with three adjustable shelves.Height 55in; width 26 3/4in; depth 12 3/4in.
The gilt bronze mounts are attached with small brads. With wear, toning, darkening and minor bending to the mounts overall. The marble top with a crack, scattered old repairs and filling in. The case with general marks, wear, scuffs, nicks abrasions and surface scratches.
