A Louis XVI style gilt bronze three piece clock garniture, 19th century, comprising a figural mantel clock and pair of four light candelabra, the clock with circular white enameled dial having Arabic hours and minutes, the twin train movement striking on a four-inch gong, the backplate stamped H. LUPPENS PARIS and numbered 2889.Height of mantel clock 23 3/4in; width 16in; depth 7 1/4in; height of candelabra 25 3/4in; width 6 1/2in; depth 6 1/2in.From a Main Line Collection.
The clock and pair of candelabra have been re-gilt having a matte finish. General marks, rubbing and wear. The clock is lacking a pendulum and winding key. We cannot guarantee the functionality or completeness of the clock's movement.
