A Neoclassical style faux bamboo and fret carved giltwood and gesso mirror, first half 20th century, the oval mirrored plate having a pronounced bevel.height 47 1/2in; width 34 1/2in
The gilding with an intentionally distressed / rubbed surface revealing red bole. With heavy heavy overall and losses overall. Many of the losses to the gilding and gesso with white gesso and base wood exposed. The mirrored plate is in good condition.
