A New England Sheraton birdseye maple inlaid mahogany chest of drawers, second quarter 19th century, the superstructure having a shaped backsplash with an unusual pierced and scalloped gallery above two short drawers.

Structurally sound. General marks, wear, scuffs, surface scratches and small losses overall. There are vertical age cracks to either side of the case. The back right of the pierced gallery with small losses and a break. The hardware is later replaced hiding other vacant holes of previous hardware.
