A North Carolina Lead-Glazed Redware Dish with Slip Decoration, 19th Century. With brown and manganese slip-trailed bands to the interior and footed base. Together with a similar Mid-Atlantic Lead-Glazed Redware Dish with slip decoration.
Dimensions: Diameter of North Carolina Dish 9 1/4in; Diameter of Mid-Atlantic Redware Dish 8 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Local Estate.
Condition
Each with knife marks, and heavy wear to the interior. The North Carolina dish with typical wear, minor losses and a hairline along the rim. The other dish with crazing, hairlines, fleabites and small chip losses along rim.
