Typical marks, scuffs and surface dirt to the canvas, stretcher wear and frame abrasion. Both with scattered minor in-painting and have been revarnished. The portrait of the gentleman with touch up to the right side of his face and background just to the right of his head. The giltwood and gesso frames with scattered small losses and re-glued carved elements throughout. The frames have been repainted a matte gold.
