A pair of English mother-of-pearl and cut brass inlaid ebonized side chairs, third quarter 19th century.
Dimensions: Height 36 3/4in; width 17 1/2in; depth of seat 16 1/2in; height of seat 20in.
Condition
The frames are structurally sound. Losses to the inlaid shells and cut brass stringing. Dings, dents, scuffs, surface scratches and small losses throughout. One chair with an old glued break and repair to the front right leg block where it meets the front and side rails. The upholstery with stains and light wear, otherwise in good condition overall.
