A Pennsylvania Faux Grain Painted Softwood Blanket Chest, Early 19th Century. The hinged rectangular top with applied moldings, enclosing a dovetail-constructed box with open interior with wrought iron crab lock.
Dimensions: Height 21in; width 51in; depth 22 3/4in.
Condition
Structurally sound. Losses to the base molding. General marks, wear, scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches overall. The chest is currently locked.
