A Pennsylvania Federal Cherry Tall Chest of Drawers, Early 19th Century
The cove molded cornice above three short over five graduated drawers, thumb molded fronts, raised on boldly turned legs. Together with a modern cherrywood base cover modeled with spurred bracket feet, hiding the existing turned legs.
Dimensions: Height 67in; width 42 3/4in; depth 21in.
Condition
Structurally sound. Retaining a refinished and skimmed surface. General marks, wear, nicks, abrasions and surface scratches throughout. The legs are possibly later added. The escutcheons appear to be original, the brass pulls are later replacements. No keys.
