A Continental Carved Alabaster Portrait Bust of Napoleon as Caesar, After Antonio Canova (Italian, 1757-1822), Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Modeled wearing a patinated bronze laurel crown, titled 'NAPOLEON' to the base and incised with signature to the side.

Dimensions: Height 12 1/4in; width 6in; depth 5in.

Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.

Condition

In overall good condition, minor discoloration. General marks, wear, rubbing, surface dirt and imperfections in material. Fleabites and small chip losses along edges and corners. Dust accumulation to crevices of bronze laurel crown. Rubbing and loss to gilding to title.
