A group of seven netsuke of oni, comprising: a wooden oni sitting, one polishing a bell in bone, one sitting on drum pouring liquid from a gourd in boxwood, an oni face in stag antler, one holding an iron rod in wood, a beggar in resin, and an oni capturing shoki under a basket in wood with Kazuo Mizutani signature.
Dimensions: from the oni on a drum at 45mm x 25mm to the oni with a iron rod at 86mm x 32mm
Provenance: The collection of Bob Goode, Philadelphia.
Condition
The sitting example has a crack, otherwise good condition.
