Seven Philadelphia Coin Silver Tablespoons 

 

Late 18th and early 19th century, comprising:  a 9in spoon possibly by Samuel Williamson, a 9in spoon by Abner Reeder, a 9in spoon by John Christian Wiltberger, a pair of 8 1/2in spoons by Thomas Shields, and a pair of 10in spoons by George W. Taylor. 

 

Dimensions: the approximate weight of the lot is 13.20 ozt 

 

Provenance: Collection of O. D. Noble. 

 

Condition

Scattered dings and minor deformations. one of the Shields spoons has a crack to the bowl, the Williamson spoon appears to have bird decoration to the back but with heavy wear.
