A Shaker parcel ebonized, walnut and maple tambour spool case, Attributed to the workshop of Thomas Fisher, (1823-1902), Enfield, Connecticut, with applied paper label to the reverse inscribed "No. 34. / Novelty Spool Case. / Patented Apr. 29 1879.", together with a mixed wood two drawer sewing box, early 20th century. Each in overall good condition. There is a small piece of convex ebonized molding to the top right side of spool case. The velvet pin cushion and thimble holders are lacking to the interiors, otherwise typical marks, wear, and surface scratches.
