Thomas Attix, Jr. He was a lifelong collector of American material culture with a particular fondness of furniture, coin silver, and Oriental rugs. His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface.
