Three Folk Art Ink and Watercolor Drawings, Late 19th Century. Each depicting a children in various pursuits with hand written poems and inscribed to the reverse 'Painted by Pearline 1889'. Each in a period giltwood frame.
Dimensions: Sight dimensions of each 4 1/8 x 2 3/4in and 6 1/2 x 3 1/8in; Frame dimensions of each 7 x 5 3/4in and 8 5/8 x 5 1/8in.
This lot comes from an Upper West Side, New York City collection that will be featured in a short lecture by noted specialist of portrait miniatures, Elle Shushan. Condition
Framed and glazed. Not examined out of the frames. Each drawing appears to be in generally good condition; wear commensurate with age. One drawing has slightly slipped in the frame. The frames with heavy marks, scuffs, nicks, surface scratches and small losses.
