Two Aesthetic Movement charred bamboo tables, late 19th century, comprising an occasional table with tooled leather top and a raffia covered side / work table with hinged top enclosing a deep open interior, joined by an undertier.Height of smaller table 29 1/2in; width 19 1/2in; depth 14 1/2in; height of larger table 28 1/4in; width 29 1/2in; depth 22 1/2in.
The table has a slight wobble and lacking two pieces of bamboo molding to the top. The leather top with heavy marks, wear, scuffs and liquid stains to the top. The small stand with losses overall, tears to the raffia. The back right leg is lacking a small ball foot.
