Two Ceremonial Swords, 19th Century 

Comprising: A U.S Navy, model 1852, ceremonial dress sword, produced by Joseph Starkey, London, with an acid etched blade, shark skin handle, and leather scabbard, the other sword is a Masonic Templar Knights ceremonial sword produced by McLilley & Co. Ohio, with extensive acid etched and gilt decoration to the blade, inscribed with the name "Sidney. B.Moore". 

Dimensions: blades range from 29" tp 30", the overall lengths (including scabbards) are 36" to 38" 

Provenance: From a local collection.

Condition

Overall good, some surface wear and corrosion to the blades, minor surface losses including to the enameled cross on the scabbard of the Masonic sword, the winding of the Navy sword is coming undone.
